Semphato Secondary School FeesTo explain this year’s Semphato Secondary School fees, it’s best to first understand the school’s Quantile, which reflects its financial standing. Quintiles 1 to 3 are declared no-fee schools and receive R1,177 funding per learner from the Department of Education, while Quintile 4 schools receive R590. However, Quintile 5 schools still require fees as they receive only R204 per learner, which is insufficient to cover the costs of running the school. Paying fees monthly is an option, but parents who choose to pay for the entire year upfront may receive discounts ranging from 3% to 10%. Additionally, parents with more than one dependent can request a sibling discount of up to 10%.
