Seliba Primary School Fees

The best way to explain the fees for the current academic year is to first explain Seliba Primary School’s Quantile, enabling a better understanding. Quintiles 1 to 3 are no-fee schools and receive R1,177 per learner from the Department of Education. Quintile 4 schools receive R590 per learner, while Quintile 5 schools are fee-paying as they receive only R204, making it impossible to run the school on government funding alone. To ease the financial burden, fees can be paid monthly, but paying in full upfront for the whole year offers discounts ranging from 3% to 10%. Parents with more than one dependent can also request a sibling discount of up to 10%.
