It is that time of the year when The Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) online application system opens for the year 2027. Parents wanting admission for their learner to start Grade 1 or 8 by next year can now apply. Let me take you through GDE Platform 2027 easy guide.

The system (GDE Platform 2027) will be live from Wednesday, 5 August 2026, at 8h00 and will close on Friday, 4 September 2026. The earlier, the better.
