GDE admission Grade R

GDE admission Grade R 2027, is now open to all little learners wanting admission for Grade R by next year. Parents can now apply for their child’s admission from Wednesday, 5 August 2026, at 8h00 and will close on Friday, 4 September 2026, at midnight.

Grade R brings excitement as students transition to high school. In this article, I’ll outline the steps to secure admission for your scholar. Note that the updated GDE online system requires parents to apply, even if the school combines both Primary and High school.
