Pass Rate Explained

The 2023 Ekangala Secondary School pass rate is decreased to 83,4% as compared to 85,9% in 2022. This resulted in Ekangala Secondary School Ranking No.: 9 in 2023 within the province (below Hoerskool Zwartkop that is currently ranking No.: 8, then followed by Phomolong Secondary School at No.: 10 and Hoerskool Langenhoven ranking No.: 11.

2021 Pass Rate

In 2021, Ekangala Secondary School registered 323 learners to write the Grade 12 National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations. Of the 323 learners who wrote the exams, 66 were unsuccessful, while 257 learners were Top Achievers (including Bachelor, Diploma and Certificates).
