To explain Dimakatso Primary School’s fees for the current year, it’s best to begin by clarifying the school’s Quantile, which indicates its financial standing. Quintiles 1-3 are designated no-fee schools and receive R1,177 funding per learner from The Department of Education, while Quintile 4 receives R590 per learner. However, Quintile 5, which receives R204 per learner, must charge fees as government funding is insufficient to cover school expenses. Testimonials & Reviews by parents

We appreciate the academic achievements of our child at Dimakatso Primary School. However, as Tshivenda-speaking parents, we were disappointed that the school did not provide proper support for the Tshivenda language. Our child ended up studying Zulu instead, and while they excelled in the subject, we believe that the opportunity to learn and embrace their home language would have been more advantageous. We encourage the school to consider expanding their language offerings to better cater to diverse student backgrounds.Parents Dimakatso Primary School excels in providing a strong academic foundation for its students. My child consistently achieves excellent grades, and I’m grateful for the dedication of the teachers. However, I must express my concern about the limited number of educational trips compared to our previous school. These trips expose children to different environments and cultures, fostering curiosity and broadening their horizons. It would be wonderful if Dimakatso Primary School could consider incorporating more outings to create a more diverse learning experience.Parents
