Deputy Minister Mhaule Dances with Joy at Laerskool Vaalwater Visit
It’s not every day you see a government minister letting loose on the dance floor, especially at school! But that’s exactly what happened at Laerskool Vaalwater in South Africa recently. Deputy Minister of Basic Education, Dr Reginah Mhaule, paid a visit to the school and got a proper South African welcome, complete with music and dancing.
The Deputy Minister, along with the Honourable Seabi, were greeted by the principal, staff, and of course, the enthusiastic learners. Far from a stuffy official visit, Dr Mhaule embraced the spirit of the occasion, joining in the dancing and clearly having a fantastic time with the kids.
It’s brilliant to see moments like this, showing that education officials are connected to the schools and communities they serve. A picture really does paint a thousand words, and this one shows a genuine connection and a shared celebration of learning.
