The Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) online application system, or Documents required for GDE admissions 2027, is now open to all learners wanting admission for Grade 8 by next year. Parents can now apply to secure space for their child’s admission from Wednesday, 5 August 2026, at 8h00 and will close on Friday, 4 September 2026, at midnight.

Documents required for GDE admissions is to ensure fair and equal opportunities for all parents, promoting inclusivity and eliminating bias based on ethnicity or socioeconomic background. Remember to submit them within 7 days of applying!
