Celebrating Women in Education: A #WomensMonth High Tea in Randburg

SchoolClick is buzzing with news from around the globe! Today, we’re taking a look at a lovely initiative from the South Africa Department of Basic Education (DBE). It seems they’re celebrating Women’s Month in a truly special way.

The DBE, in partnership with the FirstRand Foundation, hosted an Inter-Generational High Tea in Randburg, Gauteng. The event, led by the Minister of Basic Education, Ms Siviwe Gwarube, aimed to bring together women from different generations for a spot of tea, conversation, and likely, some inspiring discussions. It’s fantastic to see the DBE acknowledging the importance of women and fostering connections between generations. These kinds of events can be incredibly powerful, allowing for the sharing of experiences, wisdom, and support.
